India
is a country of enormous contrasts. We recommend the Golden Triangle Tour as an introduction, starting from Delhi and taking in Agra and Jaipur. Visit the Taj Mahal, an exceptional monument to love and continue to the 16th century Red Fort and then on to Jaipur, visiting Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted Red City. Continue on elephant back to the Amber Fort with its extensive views of the surrounding valleys and plains. For an extra week, ask about the Temples and Sacred Ganges itinerary or go in search of the Tigers of Ranthambore, fly to the Southern States and visit Kerala, Trivandrum, and Bangalore.
